WELCOME TO MARIQUENSIS
Mariquensis forms part of the farm Vergenoegd in the Groot Marico district through which the Groot Marico river flows.
Guests come to relax in the semi-wild garden where they will see many species of birds and butterflies. The Groot Marico river valley is known for its immense biodiversity.
There are two little houses that guests make use of, one which currently sleeps 6, and another, 4. The living is simple, honest and infused with what nature offers. Clean air, clean water and golden sunlight are the foundation of healthful, happy relaxation.

Mariquensis is settled in the heartland of Herman Charles Bosman country, where the HC Bosman Literary Society keeps his stories alive through theatrical events throughout the year
MARIQUENSIS?
Mariquensis gets its name from the Cinnyris mariquensis, a sunbird seen fussing around the aloes and trees in the veld of the Groot Marico district.
